For Small Gatherings, it is recommended you order 1 restroom for every 75-100 people. Most private parties still order 2 units so that men and women can have their own units.

Other Considerations
When viewing this chart, keep in mind that the following factors can increase or decrease your sanitation needs: Weather, Alcohol on Site, distance from permanent facilities, demographics of attendees, etc..

It's recommended that one hand wash station be ordered for every 2 restrooms on site. Hand wash stations are self contained and come complete with paper towels and soap. Local ordinances may vary. Most demand one sink for every two food booths at an event.

Other important items
It's mandatory for all public gatherings to comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA). This states that all public gatherings, at least 5%, but no less than 1 unit, must be wheelchair accessible. In short, 1 of every 20 regular units needs to be handicap accessible.

We also highly recommend that you order 1 baby changing facility for every 20 regular restrooms. These facilities come with a waste basket, sink, and changing table with a strap for securing the child.

Additionally it is recommended that you place your restrooms in groups to ensure even distribution of use. When restrooms are not placed in groups some restrooms are overused while others are underused.
